Governance Advisory Board
The ACEMS Governance Advisory Board met in February, June and December in 2019. The meetings focused on the Centre’s ongoing response to its mid-term review, equity and diversity initiatives including the three new female-only postdoctoral research fellow positions, industry engagement for PhD students and early-career researchers, financial matters, staffing updates, the annual retreat, and the Centre’s wind-down and legacy.
Professor Marc Parlange, Provost and Senior Vice-President of Monash University, joined the Board in mid-2019, while Professor Tim Brown from the Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute (AMSI) joined in late 2019.
